The Unpardonable Sin Explained

One question many Christians ask is can Salvation be lost? The answer is a definite NO. Salvation cannot be lost and there is no way God would let that happen.

Satan wants to play on our emotions and feelings to make us feel like we can never be forgiven or have committed the “upardonable sin”. The “unpardonable sin” CANNOT be committed today. The unpardonable sin is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. Matthew 12:24 says “But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils”.

Mark 3:28 states: “Verily I say unto you, all sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme: 29 “But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation: 30: Because they said, He has an unclean spirit”.

Because Jesus is not physically with us today one CANNOT commit this sin and as Jesus said above: All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven. If you cannot physically see any miracles Jesus is performing you cannot attribute them to Beelzebub and thus blasphemy against the Holy Spirit CANNOT be committed. Please understand this. Any sin you have committed today CAN and IS forgiven if you confess Jesus and repent. Period. Because you are seeking this you know God is working in you and are saved. You are going to get through your trial. God is going to see you through.

Proverbs 28:13 “He that covereth his sins shall not prosper, but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.”

I cannot stress enough that Jesus forgives you of ANY sin that you have committed if you just confess to Him your sins, repent, and accept His sacrifice and trust in Him for forgiveness.

If you are a soldier or a veteran that has seen action and worry if God will forgive you believe me, He forgives you. There are no “degrees” of sin. Sin is sin and we are all sinners. This verse says it all from John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life”.  There are no conditions with this truth. The same provision applies: Accept Jesus as your Savior and believe in His sacrifice for your sins. Pray and God will direct you in repentance.

Hebrews 13:5 “Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”

There is no way Jesus is going to let you slip through His hands.

II Timothy 2:13 “If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself” If your faith has wavered because of sin your life, God has brought you here for a reason. He is calling you to repentance. Regardless of how bad you feel, or what you have done, Christ died for your sins. Period. Nobody can change that. Do not believe any lies that you are not forgiven! Jesus died for ALL sins past, present, and future.

Proverbs 28:13 “He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy”. God is ready and willing to accept your confession.
